Plyfix™ are made with sheets of fibers heatpressed together into hard panels. The intensity of the heapressing combined with the thickness of the original sheets allow a wide range of properties for the end material.They can take the shape of very hard, dense and stiff panels or semi-flexible sheets.

Structural strength
Because Plyfix™ materials are made with long fibers, they keep their structural strenght after any re-processing, thus making them versatile and suitable both for indoor and outdoor use. 

Water resistant
Exposed to water, Plyfix™ boards will get wet and let water go through, without changing shape or loosing in strength.

Light weight
Really good strength to weight ratio.

Ease of use
Plyfix™ can be termoformed, heat bent, laser cut, water cut and machined. Laser engraving and printing are possible.

 Features Texture ranging from genuine felt-like to hard surfaces nearing some extruded plastic sheets. Pattern always resembles felt's appearance and warm touch. Natural look with visible organic fibers. Rough touch nearing wood.

APPLICATIONS 

Product & packaging
Designers can enjoy reworking Plyfix™ materials for any application from product parts to packaging. The various reprocessing techniques make it an easy material to work with, while customisable properties (stiffness, density, thickness, colors) broaden the possible applications and look.    

Wall, ceiling, floor
Suitable for the production of innovative wall and ceiling system panels. Directly fix Plyfix™ panels on a wall will fill all insultation needs while bringing a nice finish and style. No intermediary step is required before installing on a wall. Through heat-pressing, Plyfix™ panels also allow to create walls with embossed patterns.

Furnitures
Score, bend, cut, heatform. Plyfix™ can be turned into all type of indoor or outdoor furniture.

Laser-cut, scored and folded Plyfix™ - Felt, then screwed on a wood beam to form a bench. The feet are A-Frames and made of the same recycled PET (from post-consumer drink bottles) as the felt.
