Tommy was born in America and was raised in Irvine, California for most of his life. He attended the University of California San Diego for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, and materials science. He moved to Taiwan after graduating to work at Miniwiz because he sees the company’s tremendous potential and believes that the company culture is appealing in a way that facilitates teamwork and ingenuity. The mission of the company to strive for sustainable engineering for the purpose of preserving our environment is something he also believes in. His main responsibilities as a mechanical engineer are to provide mechanical design for new products, suggest design improvements for existing products, provide technical analysis and resolutions for engineering problems, and to coordinate with the team to successfully complete the designs of clients’ projects. |
